My best day ever!

My best day ever was when I went to the beach. As soon as we got to the beach,we got unpacked in the hotel and looked around and looked around. The most amazing part of the hotel was the over-watch. It had the best view of the ocean. You could see the really pretty, clear ocean and the warm ocean. After we got unpacked, our family went down to the ocean and set up are chairs, then went and got in the ocean water, and I even got stung a few times. The next day we went on a morning walk and then we went fishing, but we didn’t catch anything. In the late evening we went out to eat and for the first time I got oysters. At the end of the week all we could talk about was hoe much fun we had. That was my best day ever.

Twentieth Century

In the early twentieth century many young girls had to work at textile mills because lots of them could not afford school. The textile mill factory was really strict and if you were 2 minutes late you didn’t get paid for the first hour, and in March 1911 a fire happened and it killed 146 workers. People talk about it during lots of the jobs interviews and all the dangerous of it.

My reaction was I was shocked of the jobs they had.
